Our team is seeking personable and motivated Top Talent to support the company’s Sales Team in a full-time role located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth and North West Texas area. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales within commercial construction at Altro, specifically focusing on flooring and wall solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with architects, contractors, project managers, and other key decision-makers in the commercial construction industry. Expertise in flooring and walls materials, along with understanding of construction project dynamics, will be instrumental in providing tailored solutions to our clients’ needs

Responsibilities:
Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction industry. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape, target clients, and competitive offerings.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, general contractors, interior designers, and other professionals involved in commercial construction projects. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in flooring and wall solutions.

Consultative Selling:

Utilize your extensive knowledge of flooring and wall materials to provide consultative advice to clients. Understand their project requirements, design aesthetics, budget constraints, and offer appropriate product recommendations.

Project Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with the project teams, including architects, contractors, and interior designers, to align product specifications with project goals and timelines.

Proposal Creation:

Prepare detailed and accurate proposals that outline product specifications, pricing, and project timelines. Ensure that proposals are tailored to meet the unique needs of each commercial construction project.

Project Management:

Oversee the sales process from initial contact to project completion. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of flooring and wall products.

Market Analysis:

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in flooring and wall materials. Use this knowledge to position our products effectively and stay ahead of competitors.

Sales Targets:

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company. Monitor sales performance and take necessary actions to achieve revenue goals.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Networking and Industry Events:

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand our customer base and enhance brand visibility. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience solution selling to key strategic clients. Proven track record of success in B2B sales within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on flooring and walls products. In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, project lifecycles, and the role of various stakeholders. Strong understanding of flooring and wall materials, including their applications, performance characteristics, and installation requirements. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build and nurture strong business relationships. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory. 3-7 years’ experience solution selling to key strategic clients. Preferably relevant industry sales experience in flooring, contracting and presenting to the architectural industry. Team Player and strong interpersonal skills. Willing to learn new software processes and systems as required. Solid understanding of the key components of the selling cycle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hours of work:

This is a full time Monday-Friday position, with working hours being 7:00am/8:00am- 4:00pm/5:00pm. Occasional variations in working hours may be required to meet inventory deadlines or accommodate business needs. Overtime or weekend work may be necessary in such cases.

Location:

This is a remote position for someone located in the Dallas/ Fort Worth and Northwest Texas area.

Travel :

Frequent travel within assigned sales territory is expected with this position upwards of 50% of the time. Occasionally, travel will be out of the area and overnight. What do we offer?
