About the Role
A leading global AI-driven manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Representative to expand its customer base across high-growth industrial sectors. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advanced manufacturing, with strong connections in the local supply chain ecosystem. You’ll be instrumental in helping clients solve complex supply chain challenges through high-precision, scalable machining solutions.
The focus will be on two strategic growth areas:
Supplying precision components to factory automation and industrial equipment OEMs
Building partnerships with companies in aerospace, medical device, semiconductor, oil & gas, and instrumentation sectors
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential customers in:
Factory automation, OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 subsystem suppliers
Equipment manufacturers across aerospace, medical, energy, robotics, and analytical sectors
Understand technical product requirements and position the company as a trusted supply chain partner
Lead sales conversations, prepare technical quotations, and coordinate DFM/DFQ support with engineering teams
Represent the company at trade shows, technical expos, and site visits to grow brand visibility and generate leads
Maintain relationships with existing accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure successful order execution
Track sales activity, manage pipeline, and report on sales forecasts and KPIs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in technical sales or account management in precision machining, industrial equipment, or automation components
Strong professional network within Mexico’s advanced manufacturing or factory automation industries
Skilled in technical sales discussions involving cost, manufacturability, and delivery timelines
Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced customer demands
Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel up to 30% for client engagements and industry events
