  • Position Mission
  • : Promote heavy duty products and programs bytraveling within local area to develop new accounts and maintainassigned accounts.

When in the store, will provide counter sales supportby greeting and assisting customers and providing technical advice.

Although this position’s primary role is to act as a member of thesales team, this position is also responsible to deliver products asneeded.\

  • Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service
  • Work with the Store Manager and Regional Manager to develop territory sales plans
  • Promote Traction’s entire line of heavy duty products and programs
  • Assist customers by providing technical advice in-person or via telephone
  • Operate a cash register, utilize computer and paper cataloging systems, and process daily paperwork and forms
  • Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
  • Adhere to all safety rules
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.\
  • Experience, Education, and Abilities:
  • Six months experience and/or training in heavy duty sales (counter or outside
  • Previous route or delivery vehicle driving experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal
  • Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, team lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
