04/28/2025 Apply via website The Sr. Field Representative is part of the Northeast Region team of The Conservation Fund and initiates, funds and completes conservation land transactions in Maine. This position works with the VP & Northeast Representative to develop and implement the strategic vision for the Maine program. Projects may include, but are not limited to, ecologically sensitive areas, working forests, coastal lands, Tribal land return, recreation and open space areas, working waterfronts, and mitigation lands. Work includes but is not limited to: building relationships with public agencies, land trusts and other partners, real estate project coordination, site visits, landowner contacts, negotiations, preparation of legal documents and coordination of due diligence activities, and public and private fundraising. The Sr. Field Representative is expected to develop and maintain their own book of business and be self-sustaining under the program. The Sr. Field Representative works in coordination with the Legal, Conservation Acquisition, Government Relations, Finance, Strategic Giving, Marketing and Communications, Working Forest teams and coordinates with other Northeast state programs.
