Mon-Fri 730am-4pm. Occasional OT.

- Computer skills required. Willbe using MS Office and MS Outlook daily.

- Will answer internal call from client, in additional to callingvendors.
- Will handle invoice resolution.

Position Summary:
The Storeroom Customer Service Representatives(CSRs) typically reside at a customer location and are responsiblefor providing exceptional service to ‘s customers by purchasingproducts, goods and materials (stock and/or non-stock, or stockbuy) that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality,timing, and reliability of supply.
Essential Job Duties andResponsibilities:
- Perform procurement activities to ensure thecustomer’s current and anticipated demand for products andmaterials (stock and/or non-stock, or spot buy) are met and inalignment with purchasing strategies.
- Review and approve assignedinventory forecasts produced by inventory management or otherEnterprise Resource Planning application.
- Review and approvedaily replenishment recommendations produced by ‘s inventorymanagement or other Enterprise Resource Planning application.
- Assess existing orders to determine action for expediting orde-expediting for optimal delivery.
- Place purchase requisitionsand vendor purchase orders.
- Research, assess, and makerecommendations for vendors and/or specific items of request toensure they comply with specifications and meet the customer’squality, pricing, and delivery standards.
- Monitor the quality andtimeliness of products and materials supplied; may coordinate thereturn of damaged goods and/or replacement items.
- Negotiate andcoordinate vendor returns for aging, expired, or excess inventory;coordinate other liquidation activities as required.
- Follow-up onthe status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timelydelivery; and communicate status of orders with customers.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve problems with timeliness andproduct quality.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with one ormore suppliers, vendors, and assigned customers.
- Research andresolve account payables nonconformance with suppliers.
- Identifyopportunities for and document customer cost savings.
- Producecustomer KPI measurement data.
- Follow all company and customerStandard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to LEAN operatingpractices; ensure worksite is professional, clean and neat at alltimes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a related field(e.g., Business, Finance, etc.) preferred. 1 years of experience inthe field of Procurement preferred. CPM certification preferred.
Other relevant experience includes:
- Excellent customer service.
- Computer skills and aptitude to learn the various EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) and Inventory Management applications.
- Mathematical aptitude for basic calculations.
- Self-starter withthe ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail andaccuracy.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, organizationaland execution skills.
- Proficiency with MS-Office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment &Physical Demands:
- Long periods of time working on a computer andperforming repetitive key-boarding activities.
- Work may be in amanufacturing environment and could have exposure to dirt, smoke,heat, cold, etc.
- Safety protection may be required while in thecustomer’s facility (hand, foot, and eye or other as dictated bythe customer’s safety protocols).
- Overtime hours may be requiredwith little advanced notice.
- While performing the duties of thisjob, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear.
Theassociate frequently is required to sit. The associate isoccasionally required to stand and walk. The associate may berequired to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specificvision abilities required by this job include close vision, abilityto adjust focus, and may require the ability to distinguish color.
