We are locally owned and operated with a strong culture and work ethic. Current growth leads us to search for a Commerical Landscape Sales & Business Development Representative. Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Minimum 2 years experience in commercial sales or business development in the landscape, construction, home services, or other related industries Proven track record of exceeding sales goals Experience with estimating and/or writing proposals and commercial contracts Proven track record of finding and fostering new client and referral partner relationships Work with Director of Sales to identify a list of strategic target prospects in specific industries such as quick-service restaurants, multi-location franchises or service companies, and private universities and schools Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial prospects through initiating strategic sales conversations (calls, emails, texts, meetings, etc), networking, and referral partner meetings Guide prospects through a proven sales process (Sandler Sales Process or similar) to qualify prospects and close the deal on new construction projects, renovation or remodel contracts, and strategic multi-location maintenance contracts Conduct site visits and assessments for commercial properties to understand landscaping needs Prepare and present comprehensive proposals for design, installation, and maintenance services Negotiate contracts and pricing for commercial accounts Attend strategic networking and community events in order to meet new potential referral partners, key connections, and prospects
Compensation and Benefits:
Guaranteed 7% commission on all completed sales that are sold with company’s minimum profit margin – this position is straight commission Eighty (80) hours of paid time off Seven (7) paid holidays Company will cover 50% of the employee’s medical insurance premiums. Any premium payments for spouse, dependents, and/or ancillary coverage (dental and vision) will be the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following sixty (60) days of employment Company paid $25,000 life insurance policy Eligibility for participation in supplemental insurance (short term disability, voluntary life insurance, cancer care) Eligibility for participation in Company matched 401(k) plan. Company will match up to 3.5% of employee’s pre-tax contribution.
