We’re looking for a self-motivated sales representative to actively seek out wine retailers and restaurants. You will provide wine education, product recommendations and marketing assistance to your customers. The pay range given is the expected full time commission in this position after building your territory. Most candidates would earn the lower end of the range in their first year and hit the higher end by their 3rd-5th year. There is no cap on commission earnings. Mileage reimbursements are provided. You must be willing to have lower start up pay while establishing your accounts. For the experienced candidate, we do have excellent active accounts you may acquire. Sales occur primarily from 9-5 weekdays, with occasional events on evenings or weekends at your discretion. Part time is available by working at least two consecutive weekdays per week. Responsibilities Present and sell wine and spirits using solid wine knowledge to existing and prospective restaurants and retailers. Determine the product needs of existing/potential customers’ Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Resolution of customer problems and complaints Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members Assist with payment collection from your clients Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and inventory needs. Keep abreast of industry trends Continuously improve through feedback and continuing self-education Skills Proven work experience as a sales representative Knowledge in any area of the food and beverage industry Excellent knowledge of MS Office/Google Docs & Sheets Highly motivated self starter Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Relationship management skills and openness to feedback 21 and over
