Position Summary Constellation Brands is building thepreeminent investor grade Wine and Spirits selling division in themarket and is looking for the best fine wine and craft spiritsprofessionals in the industry. This role is responsible for theexecution of our Wine and Craft Spirits objectives with our keydistributor partners. This role is responsible for the keydistributor house relationships with specific emphasis on aligningand gaining commitment from distributors to achieve the CBI planand financial budgets each year. This role is responsible formonthly performance with action plans to drive enhancedperformance, building incentives to deliver monthly off and onpremise performance and responsibility for pricing as it relates tobrand strategy vs. competitive set. Responsibilities Sales Planningand Program Development In partnership with the Director and SrDirector, develop assigned distributor business plan meetings,periodic team reviews, market surveys, competitive pricing surveysand general sales meetings with distributor partners and ourNational Accounts team. Owns distributor channel or geographic Planbreak out Understands pricing and can offer market pricingopportunities Builds incentives to deliver Fiscal planAnalysis/insights of monthly performance with action plans to driveenhanced performance Accountable for budget management of NonPrice/LMF Execute new product launches and line extensions to matchcompany objectives Execution and Communication of Sales ObjectivesDevelop and maintain IRI reports including at risk reports, chainscorecards, faire share reports, gap reports Develop and maintaintracking reports covering chain warehouse inventory, plannertracking, ad tracking, new item tracking, authorization listing,chain store lists and ad-hoc reports Help manage on/off premisechannel strategy in market CBonD/Prime OP Partners/KPIs Off PremiseDistribution Driver/Creative Display Contests/National AccountsPlanner Execution Participant in key survey periods around periodsto win (i.e. Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Winterholidays) Participant in key blitz or focus periods and ensuresaccountability of objectives around fine wine and craft spirits inthe On Premise Implement sales performance measures and targetsusing the Constellation Brands CORE brand priorities withdistributors while assisting in achieving expected resultsStrengthen existing retailer relationships through continuousengagement with category management teams at the account providingstrategic thinking and expertise in category leadership In MarketTraining and Relationship Development Develop, cultivate andmaintain strong collaborative relationships with distributor salesleads and regional teams Leverage relationships to explore businessopportunities throughout your assigned territory Work with, coachand educate distributor sales members on Constellation Brands’brand priorities and standards Partner with Trade Marketing tounderstand brand health and needs Administration and AnalysisProvide feedback to Directors on market issues, opportunities,changes, distributor issues and competitive activity Prepare andmaintain all applicable financial records, budgets and forecastsfor your assigned area Conduct post-promotional analysis inconjunction with Regional Performance Manager (RPM) Conduct andreport weekly progress checks of distributor performance for yourassigned area Insure required reports and T&E are turned intimely, as necessary, and budget is maintained Utilize Compass andall other CBI communication and collaboration tools QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience 8-10 yearsof related experience, preferred within the beverage industryUnderstanding of three-tier distribution system Alcohol & Beverageindustry highly preferred Retail Experience preferred Experience inmanaging supplier/distributor business across an entire stateStrong Microsoft Office skills, including but not limited to Excel,Power Point, Word, Sharepoint, Access and One Note Proficient inthe use of all category management software, concepts, analyticaltechniques; have a thorough understanding of syndicated data.
Ability to travel frequently within assigned area of business viacar, 60-75% of time

Our compensation is based on cost oflabor. For remote locations or positions open to multiplelocations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets,including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highestgeographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less thanthe posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Anemployee’s pay position within the salary range will be based onseveral factors including, but not limited to, the prevailingminimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications,certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location,performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-basedmetrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business ororganizational needs.
