Requirements:
This position requires the ability to price jobs, enter material lists, and work extensively on a computer. The main responsibilities of this position are to; estimate jobs, follow-up on estimates, develop cutting lists, get jobs organized to put in shop, requisition material that is not in stock, follow-up to see how estimate compares to finished job, work closely with all departments for developing estimates. Must also help, as needed, with Inside Sales.
Requirements:
Must possess good interactive people skills i.e. in-person, email, telephone, etc. Must learn to use LMF computer systems and required programs. Sales and manufacturing experience and exposure are desirable. Should have knowledge of carbon, alloy, stainless, aluminum, plates, sheets, structural shapes, pipe, tubing, angle, channel, rounds, flats, squares, grating, and expanded metal. Also, knowledge of capabilities and understanding of processes in all departments of LMF (i.e. Steel Prep (cutting/shearing, raw materials), Fab Shop (fab/weld/bend/roll/blast/paint/etc), Manual Machining, CNC Machining, Supply, Warehouse (raw materials, sawing), Transportation, etc).
