Primary Purpose The Inbound Inside Sales Representative (IISR) is an essentialpartner in the USS selling and customer experience process. TheIISR is responsible for answering inbound sales calls for all tiersof customers, providing quotes for multiple product lines andservices, converting those quotes to orders, and identifyingopportunities for future business. sales. This position has a clearunderstanding of the entire USS sales process and the rules ofengagement for having meaningful conversations to fulfillcustomers’ needs, build value, and differentiate USS to closesales. The IISR is a critical player in generating new business,growing existing business, and customer retention. This positionoffers world-class service with clarity, energy, and immediacy forevery customer interaction. Essential Functions Proactively engage customers to meet their needs with theappropriate products and services Utilize strategic sales skills to close the sale on the initialcall with the customer Coordinate with various departments to ensure customer requestsare handled appropriately and timely Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all USS products andservices Research the customers business and proactively identify theirpotential challenges and opportunities Educate the customer on all USS products and services andemphasize product differences and their combined benefits Seamlessly recommend additional items tailored to the customersbusiness model and buying patterns Overcome price objections by speaking to USS value andhigh-quality service specifics Proactively seek to understand the customer needs and businessmodel Provide great customer service and added value throughresponsive and personalized communication, detailed productknowledge, and consistency Anticipate and identify future opportunities to serve thecustomer Seek to win new business and maintain existing business byproactively ensuring customer satisfaction with USS and externalsites Effectively utilize USS systems and follow establishedSOPs Stay up to date on system and procedural changes Participate in ongoing performance and process improvement Perform other duties as required
