Job Description
The Sales Specialist is responsible for maintaining a desired census/closing sales with skilled, memory care and assisted living, communicating with family members regarding financial matters and communicating and interacting with the outside community. Assist Marketing and Sales Supervisor with planning and implementing marketing events, speaking before groups, assists with family issues and resolutions, working with referral agencies, organizations, and institutions, and completing and maintaining admission records. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans that will result in meeting and/or exceeding performances expectations. Conducts phone and direct sales calls in accordance with established Sales & Marketing goals. Supports calls, tours, and e-mail communication with inquiries from prospective residents, families and referral sources. Maintains an active, working knowledge of competition. Assists in updating competitive information on a regular basis and communicates to the team. Attends resident functions.
Experience:
Two (2) years in
Senior Living, Marketing & Senior Living/Continuing Care Retirement Community/Life Plan Community Experience Education:
High School Diploma Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with state law and regulations surrounding senior housing. Ability to relate in a professional and positive manner with all team members, residents, families, and vendors. Solid proven closing skills and strong outside sales are essential to be considered for this position. Performs external and internal memory care, assisted living and skilled care marketing and sales efforts to achieve high sales performance goals. Leads efforts through face-to-face referral development. Conduct walk-in and scheduled tours with prospective residents or interested parties. Employ strategies that focus on building stronger, Conducts phone and direct sales calls. Supports calls, tours, and e-mail communication with inquiries from prospective residents, families and referral sources. Ability to establish and maintain optimum rapport with residents, family members, providers of health care and regulatory agencies. Create and maintain a solid referral base by developing a sustaining relationship with social workers, case managers, and key referral sources.
