As a Truss Sales Rep, you will offer wood floor and roof trussesto general contractors and builders of single-family homes. Musthave knowledge of trusses and proven sales drive. 2-3 years oflocal experience in truss sales is preferred.

Overview:

We areseeking a motivated and experienced Truss Sales Representative tojoin our team. This role focuses on selling wood roof and floortrusses primarily for single-family homes. The ideal candidate willhave a strong background in construction sales, excellentcommunication skills, and a deep understanding of buildingmaterials, and established relationships with builders andcontractors

Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:

Prospect and acquire new customers, including builders,contractors, and developers. Maintain and expand relationships withexisting customers to increase sales volume. Develop and executesales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

ProductExpertise:

Educate customers on the benefits and features of woodroof and floor trusses. Provide technical assistance and guidanceto customers regarding truss specifications and installationrequirements. Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, andregulations related to truss systems.

Quoting and Proposals:

Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals basedon customer specifications and project requirements. Negotiateterms and conditions of sales agreements to achieve mutualsatisfaction.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely withinternal teams such as engineering, production, and logistics toensure timely delivery and quality service. Coordinate withcustomers and contractors to schedule deliveries and resolve anyissues that may arise.

Requirements:

Proven track record in salesin the construction industry, preferably wood trusses. Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintainrelationships. Technical aptitude and ability to understandconstruction blueprints and specifications. Excellent communicationskills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated and able to workindependently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in computerapplications such as MS Office and CRM software. Willingness totravel locally and regionally as required. Bi-lingual is stronglypreferred.
