https://adaptgc.com/ This is a hybrid role that requires both business development expertise and proposal writing skills. You will be responsible for identifying new federal and commercial construction opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring Adapt Construction is positioned to win contracts. You will also lead the proposal development process, ensuring our submissions are strategic, compliant, and compelling. Your success will be measured by the number of relationships established, the quality of proposals submitted, and the overall growth of our project pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage with federal and commercial construction clients, agencies, and industry partners Conduct proactive outreach to develop relationships with key decision-makers Track and manage the business development pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and engagement Lead proposal development, including writing, structuring, and ensuring compliance with government RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs Develop marketing materials, capability statements, and content for Adapt’s website and LinkedIn Analyze contract opportunities and position Adapt for best-value proposals Create an organized proposal content repository for easy reuse. Represent Adapt at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities Collaborate with leadership to refine sales and business development strategies
What We’re Looking For:
Proven business development experience in the construction industry Expertise in proposal writing for government contracts, with knowledge of compliance requirements Strong ability to develop persuasive messaging that differentiates Adapt from competitors A hunter mentality, driven, persistent, and proactive in relationship-building Strong research and analytical skills to identify opportunities and assess contract viability Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create high-quality proposals and marketing content Familiarity with government contracting processes, agencies, and regulations (Preferred) Some travel will be required. Why Join Us? Full Time Employment Competitive base salary at $40,000 to $45,000, based on experience, plus commission.
OTE:
$120,000 (including base salary).
