- Raleigh/Durham / Upstate SC Laundry Systems Raleigh-Durham, NC Job description Laundry Equipment and Chemicals Sales Executive in NC/SC growing our chemical sales ( A Career, not a Job) Benefits Paid one-week vacation 1st year, all major holidays off, 5 paid personal days (used at your discretion for family events, sickness, personal business, etc.

If you become a successful salesperson of laundry chemicals, you can go anywhere in the continental United States and have a job the next day, because this is a field with few solid salespeople who also have the knowledge to come up with solutions and get them on paper quickly to present. We will teach you to do this if you are open minded and I hope you stay forever, but if you don’t, and if we leave on good terms…we will certainly provide you a recommendation if you want to move elsewhere. In this business, if a great salesperson decides to become a “free agent”, then everybody in the industry from Oregon to Maine hears about it. All of a sudden that person’s phone will be ringing off the wall of other companies trying to get him. (and we know that phones are no longer attached to a wall!) Laundry Systems has an immediate opening for a confident, self-motivated Commercial Laundry and Housekeeping Chemical Sales Representative who desires to generate income as a reward for their hard work, but who also desires to be part of a Team of employees, customers and product suppliers who are working to make customers properties more effective and efficient.
Our definition of sales includes:
A repetitive yet an “every day is different” routine. Get a list of the hotels. Get a list of the hospitals. Get a list of nursing homes for a given geography. LSOT will help you build this list with existing and potential customers. Then, we plan a route, put a strategy in place and start the process. Building a strong customer list (funnel) is crucial, its blue collar selling most of the time. Solve problems. Find more problems, solve them. Build a great network of referrals. Time and Territory Management is hard for most of us, but this discipline will yield great results. We will help you. You’ll go into the area you’re working that day. You’ll visit our existing customers and while you’re there, you will very professionally ask for referrals and (you will have earned them because of your great follow up and execution on your work with that client) continue to build your list and influence in the market. Then you will stop in to see potential customers who you have identified as potential people you can help. Sometimes you will have scheduled (by phone or text or email) appointments with them. Sometimes you will drop in and they may or may not have time right then. You are friendly and ask pointed questions to identify potential needs and problems. Sometimes the problems are not even going to require things that we sell (ice machines, HVAC, contractor needs, etc) …but you help with that anyway if it doesn’t take too much time. Commercial Laundry Sales Representative:
College or Technical School Degree NOT required but NOT discounted either Problem solving skills required Must meet new business goals through referrals from your existing customers, via cold walk ins to new businesses, via some Social Selling, some following up on leads Ability to provide professional advice and customized solutions to serve our clients Effective communication skills
