CP&P is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell our Dry Utility products and services to both current and prospective clients in Southern Virginia and North Carolina. In this role, you’ll pursue new business opportunities, foster strong customer relationships, and help ensure an exceptional experience for our clients.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales of Dry Utility products Identify new business opportunities through market research and outreach Build and maintain customer relationships through regular site and office visits Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations and quotes Educate clients on product features and benefits Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules Submit new project awards with required documentation Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment Maintain detailed records of sales activity and provide regular reports

What You Bring:

Proven sales experience, ideally in the construction or building materials industry Familiarity with or willingness to learn CP&P products and their applications Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and sales analytics tools Ability to read construction plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare estimates

What You Need:

A high school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Typical Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, depending on workload Regular travel will be required to meet with clients within the assigned territory

Physical Demands:

Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping Lifting (up to 50 lbs.) Pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs.)

Work Environment:
