Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Outside SalesRepresentative to help expand American Equipment, an overhead hoistand crane company who is a leader in in-house crane fabrication,parts, service, and material handling! Put your industry contactsto use in this exciting role. We are looking for a highlysuccessful individual who is focused on acquiring new accounts.

Responsibilities of the outside sales representative includemaintaining relationships with current client base, cross sellingall products to existing clients, cold calling to new clients,setting appointments and acquiring new clients. For at least thefirst year or two this individual will spend the majority of theirtime selling service related inspections. As their knowledge growsrelated to other products and services, additional sellingresponsibilities will be given to them.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect leads, acquire new accounts, and gather marketplacecompetitive information
  • Become proficient in equipment selectionbased on many variables
  • Manage customers, contacts, leads, andall sales activity utilizing CRM
  • Develop and annual sales planwith defined objectives and key target accounts
  • Providepresentations to existing, new, and prospective customers
  • Workwith resources in building cost estimates, proposals, and pricingstrategies
  • Prepare project details when handing off to operations
  • Employ consultative selling approaches to customers
  • Participatein job site meetings as needed
  • Take on special projects as itrelates to the sales and marketing aspects of the business
RequiredSkills/Abilities:

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
