At Rolling Greens we design, install, and maintain exterior and interior landscape designs and holiday decor. Rolling Greens is an innovative commercial landscape design service, providing high-impact interior and exterior landscaping solutions as well as dedicated maintenance services to fit any design plan. Our services also include Holiday Decorating and Green Building features such as Living Walls. We are looking to add a motivated team member with the following skillset: responsible for creating visually appealing & functional interior landscape spaces while managing client relationships and driving sales. This role combines interior landscape expertise with sales strategies to meet clients’ needs and achieve business goals. We are searching for a candidate passionate about plants, landscape design and customer service looking to build a career alongside a growing company in a niche, fun industry! Starting salary rate based on experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generates and develops new business to meet specified production goals. Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and vendors. Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Prepares and presents sales proposals/concepts for client’s approval. Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, policies and procedures to new and existing customers. Possesses and maintains knowledge of interior and exterior plant industry. Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed. Negotiates contracts and work agreements. Manage project timelines & budgets to ensure successful project completion. Provides timely and accurate reports as required. Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business unit. Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent, one to two years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a self-starter and proactive. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization. Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Excellent problem resolution and consultative sales skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Proficient in MS Office and Picture It design software or equivalent.
