We have a full-time position for a Sales Representative (Construction) in Charlotte, NC (Gastonia). The role is in office with some flexibility. Reporting to the Branch Manager & supported by branch operations, the Sales Representative is responsible for growing BOXX Modular’s rentals within the Construction market, while meeting and/or exceeding established sales margin goals by targeting and developing their markets within the assigned territory. They are also responsible for the management of all their accounts and for general oversight of all active projects within their defined geographic region. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly motivated and outgoing sales professional with experience in the construction sector, for our modular business. The incumbent will be engaging with subcontractors, attending networking events, and visiting project sites. This role requires someone who can operate independently without direct leadership, thrive under pressure, effectively communicate with clients, be a strong self-starter and eager to learn grow with the organization. Duties and Responsibilities Proactively Market and grow BOXX Modular within the construction market.
Closing modular building projects & leasing business within the construction market.
Identify target markets accounts, develop specific business and marketing plans within the assigned territory, and execute those plans.
Take the lead in the preparation of quotes in accordance with Company pricing, policy, credit, and payment requirements.
Cultivate customer relationships and maintain an accurate database using Salesforce.
Network within the construction and modular building industry, meet with customers and attend site visits on a regular basis.
Keep abreast of competition and report on known activities.
Always represent the Company in an ethical and professional manner.
Accurately and timely log all daily sales, leads, contract documentation, and any other relative files for all opportunities within Salesforce and other Company resources.
Salesforce/CRM experience is highly preferred.
Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Participate in events such as seminars, trade shows and other marketing events as approved by the Company.
Routine and strategic travel within assigned territory to manage customer relationships, which could include extended overnight trips and out of state travel.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Construction Sales experience (leasing of basic scope of work single-wide and double-wide modular office/classroom buildings).
Proven experience with business development and consultative selling.
Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects while seeking new opportunities.
Knowledge of building codes and accessibility codes is preferred.
Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, ever-changing atmosphere with high-energy people.
Be results-oriented.
