Sales Support Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Support specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the manufacturing industry, providing an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career. The role involves assisting the inside sales team and supporting key business operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders and quotations promptly while maintaining accuracy.
• Retain product knowledge to address basic product-related inquiries effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to provide cross-training support for existing accounts.
• Analyze customer-provided data, including part number identification and account-specific pricing.
• Follow established procedures and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Take initiative to manage tasks or special projects as they arise.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the team.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Planner to enhance productivity and communication.
• Assist in auditing processes and preparing for key operational events.
• Support inside sales operations and contribute to team efficiency during peak and off-peak periods. Requirements
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Planner.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
• Ability to analyze and interpret customer data with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CRM, CPQ, and ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to handle purchase orders, quotations, and account management tasks.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and openness to feedback.
