About NOD Apiary Products NOD Apiary Products is a global leader in honeybee health, best known for developing and manufacturing Formic Pro; an effective, sustainable treatment for Varroa mites. With a strong commitment to scientific innovation, beekeeper education, and global collaboration, we support beekeeping communities worldwide in promoting hive health and sustainable apiculture. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, personable, and motivated Sales Representative to promote and support Formic Pro across the United States and Canada, with a primary focus on the southern U.S. This is a contract role with the opportunity for renewal and the potential to lead to a full-time position based on performance and company growth. This role is ideal for someone with a background in beekeeping or apiculture, who thrives in a people-oriented, educational sales environment, and is comfortable with regular travel and public speaking. Key Responsibilities
- Represent NOD Apiary Products at regional and national conferences, tradeshows, and beekeeping association meetings.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product education sessions about Formic Pro to beekeepers, retailers, and industry stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and beekeeping communities across the territory.
- Provide regular market feedback, identify new opportunities, and support strategic growth in key regions.
- Collaborate with the Global Sales and Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Participate in training at NOD headquarters in Trenton, Ontario, Canada, to gain a deep understanding of our products, values, and scientific foundation. Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales, outreach, or education. Beekeeping experience and strong apicultural knowledge is essential.
- A naturally engaging, confident presenter with experience delivering educational content to diverse audiences.
- A customer focused individual who works well with others, values collaboration, and builds lasting professional relationships.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly, especially within the southern U.S., and occasionally into Canada.
- Should reside near a major airport for ease of travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, marketing, biology, environmental science, or related field preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
Valid US passport ability to travel to
U.S./CAN
