Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the parts department operations in an automotive dealership or repair facility.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and organizing parts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts for various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to identify and source the correct parts needed for repairs.
  • Utilize an order management system (such as AS400) to track and process parts orders.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Implement effective pricing strategies for parts to maximize profitability.
  • Train and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive dealership. Ford experience recommended but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and equipment repair processes.
  • Familiarity with OEM parts and their applications.
  • Proficiency in using an order management system (e.g., AS400) for parts ordering and tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with service technicians, vendors, and other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Note:

Experience working in a warehouse or managing shipping/receiving operations would be beneficial but not required for this position.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$90,000.00

  • $120,000.
