In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, and driving sales growth through effective communication and relationship-building strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology sales and a proven track record in B2B and B2G environments. We work with federal contractors managing their accounts. You will be contacting current federal contractors who are not our clients, and who have dormant federal accounts. Additionally we will be cold calling commercial clients who are currently marketing to state & local governments, and which would benefit from a federal contract. The federal marketplace purchases $200 Billion annual of services and supplies. We work a 35 hour work week, we pay a base rate of $800. per week, plus 15% commission. Our average sale is $4,000. We provide paid federal holidays, and 6 personal or sick days. Responsibilities • Engage in cold calling to identify and qualify new leads within assigned territories. Manage accounts by building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs. Collaborate with the business development team to strategize on sales initiatives. Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on progress. You have to be dynamic enough to know how to start. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction. You need follow up, no one buys on the first call. Experience Previous experience in inside sales or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with technology sales and retail sales practices is a plus. Proven ability in account management and business development strategies. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is highly desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
