Outside Sales Representative 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Wilmington, NC 28411 Join our growing team as an Outside Sales Representative , supporting clients across Wilmington, NC, and the Myrtle Beach area . We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who coordinates the sales of scaffold rental, erection, and dismantlement services, as well as other types of access solutions and fall protection equipment, to achieve world-class customer satisfaction. Successfully close competitive business. •Scaffolding experience preferred or 3 years selling in the construction industry•

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Generate sales leads and call on potential new and current customers to discover requirements and sell scaffolding, hoist, and climbing products/services to them, consistent with branch revenue and profitability goals Develop short-term and long-term new customer targets with actionable goals to attain their business within a determined timeframe Conduct quarterly “Lunch and Learn” with customers to enhance branch visibility in the market and allow customers to understand all capabilities of our company Examine customer specifications and prepare proposals that fulfill customer requirements for the sale and/or rental and/or erection, and disassembly of scaffolding systems Maintain current and accurate pipeline of sales through our CRM interface (Salesforce) Effectively present proposals, handle customer inquiries and objections, and negotiate advantageous terms of sale to secure business opportunities for the company. Coordinate and manage the sales, delivery, erection, and disassembly of scaffolding systems to meet customer requirements, branch revenue, and profitability goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field – or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the construction industry or a similar field. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and visualize construction solutions like scaffolding, shoring, and forming. Familiarity with business writing and technical documentation. Comfortable presenting to both small and large groups, including executives and customers. Strong math skills, including percentages, volume, and geometry. Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability in complex situations. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid driver’s license required; local and occasional overnight travel necessary
