Sales Supervisor Primary Objective:
Deliver and Sell Products to Direct Customers The George J. Howe Company is seeking a delivery, merchandising and sales representative to service customers in Grove City and the surrounding areas. This job requires early morning start times and is physically challenging. A safe driving record and current driver’s license are required. Applicant’s ability to safely drive a box truck will be assessed before hiring. A clean credit report is also necessary. This is a DSD (direct store delivery) sales route covering retail grocery stores, mass merchandise retailers and hotels. Our product lines include packaged candy and nuts as well as coffee. Skills Needed:
Operate Handheld Computer Route Operations
- Scheduling, Inventory Management, etc., see that updated route books, itineraries are kept current Basic Computer Skills
- Email/Outlook, Excel, and Word Customer Service
- professionally resolve problems, conflict Help Resolve Account Receivable Issues Customer Sales Calls, including ‘cold calling’ for and in coordination with Salesman and Distributors
- on Chain Stores and Independents Merchandising Standards
- Pricing, Assortment, Placements, etc.
