Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development Specialist to help expand our client base and support our daily staffing operations. This is a local role that requires in-person visits to area businesses , cold calling , and building strong relationships with both clients and workers.
Location:
Must be based in Burlington, Mebane, Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Raleigh or Hillsborough or near by areas in
North Carolina Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Drop in and introduce the staffing services to local businesses (warehouses, logistics, light industrial, public works, etc.) Conduct cold calls and follow-ups to secure new staffing contracts Set meetings, gather job order requirements, and support client onboarding Build and maintain long-term relationships with client contacts Operations & Recruiting Support Assist with scheduling and communication for workers assigned to client sites Create a community feel and help troubleshoot and resolve worker or client concerns Support recruiting tasks including sourcing candidates and screening applicants Assist with onboarding new workers and shift availability tracking
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable with in-person visits and outbound cold calls for new Leads Experience with any CRM or lead sourcing tools like ClaritySoft, Apollo.io, or Knowledgenet.ai is a plus Familiarity with Google Sheets or Excel for tracking leads, job orders, and worker data is a plus Organized, proactive, and goal-oriented Reliable transportation is required
Compensation:
Hourly Rate:
$20-$22/hour (depending on experience)
