Position Overview As an Junior Inside Sales Representative , you will be responsible for selling payroll solutions (including software, funding, and managed payroll services) to businesses within a specified region or territory. You’ll connect with prospects through inbound and outbound efforts, conduct virtual meetings and presentations, and work closely with internal lead generation and marketing teams to drive business. This is a fully remote role that requires drive, coachability, and a hunter mentality. No prior payroll experience is required—we provide full training! What You’ll Be Doing Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on warm leads provided by the company. Schedule and host virtual meetings with prospective clients using video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Teams). Present the company’s suite of payroll solutions in a compelling way to meet business needs. Understand the unique challenges faced by businesses and recommend tailored payroll solutions that drive efficiency and compliance. Manage a sales pipeline using a CRM system and keep accurate, up-to-date records. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Collaborate with marketing, lead generation, and account management teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience. Stay current on payroll products, industry regulations, and competitive landscape to confidently position offerings. What We’re Looking For 0-2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (call center, customer service, or internship experience is a plus). Self-starter with a competitive mindset and a desire to grow in a high-performance environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and close deals virtually. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and platforms. Comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Previous SaaS or B2B sales experience is a plus but not required.
