Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing and supporting small accounts within an assigned region. This role works closely with Sales Executives to generate new opportunities, re-engage inactive customers, and ensure smaller accounts receive consistent, high-quality service. You’ll be on the front lines of communication—making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, and converting conversations into revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound & Outbound Lead Handling
- Managing incoming inquiries efficiently and proactively reaching out to potential customers. Lead Qualification
- Quickly assessing whether a prospect is a good fit based on budget, needs, and readiness to buy. Product Education & Consultative Selling
- Providing concise, impactful explanations of how your product solves their specific pain points. Follow-Up Cadence
- Establishing a structured follow-up system to keep leads engaged without overwhelming them. Pricing & Promotions Management
- Ensuring smaller accounts get optimal pricing and incentives while maintaining profitability. Efficient Objection Handling
- Addressing concerns with clear, value-driven responses to keep the sales cycle short. Closing Deals Quickly
- Using a frictionless purchasing process, making it easy for customers to say “yes.” Customer Onboarding & Satisfaction
- Ensuring a smooth transition post-sale to set up for renewals and future expansion. Retention & Upsell Opportunities
- Identifying ways to add value over time, leading to increased lifetime value from small accounts. Data-Driven Sales Optimization
- Leveraging CRM insights and sales metrics to refine strategies and maximize efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in a medical or B2B environment. Strong phone presence with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly. Comfortable handling a high volume of outbound calls and multitasking. Strong verbal communication and organizational skills. Experience using CRM and ERP tools; Microsoft Office proficiency required. High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred. Prior experience with medical products or selling to healthcare professionals is a plus. Positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic. Reliable internet access if working remotely. Strong relationship management skills.
