Job Description
Landscape Sales Specialist Total Grounds 477 Laconia Road, Tilton, NH 03276 Seeking a motivated Landscape Sales Specialist to join our expanding team. The key focus of this role is to cultivate new business opportunities, establish strong client connections, and drive our growth within the landscaping industry. If you’re motivated and skilled at building relationships, there’s plenty of room to grow with us — including opportunities to take on more advanced sales or strategic responsibilities as we continue to expand. As an integral part of the sales team, you’ll work closely with our company leaders, project managers and vendors to develop strategies that attract new clients, grow existing accounts and strengthen our position as a trusted partner in design/build landscape, snow and maintenance services. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication skills, along with a general understanding of the landscape industry. __________________________________________________________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial and residential sectors Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, general contractors, property managers, landscape architects and other key decision makers Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events to promote Total Grounds services Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients from initial inquiry through project completion
Strategic Growth Planning:
Collaborate with sales team to define growth goals and align sales strategies with company capabilities Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
Collaborations and Internal Communication:
Work closely with estimating, project management and operations teams to ensure accurate and successful onboarding of new projects Gather and share client feedback to drive service enhancements strategies to identify future sale opportunities and assist with quality assurance
Sales Process and CRM Management:
Use CRM tools (e.g., Aspire) to manage contacts, track leads and report on sales activity Schedule and conduct site visits to gather measurements, data, and assess existing conditions that may impact job operations Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for landscape opportunities to include materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Present created proposals to prospective clients
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales or client relations – preferably within construction, landscaping or related industries Must be proactive and comfortable with in-person prospecting to generate new business Motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a consultative sales approach Knowledge of horticulture / landscape services, snow removal, or maintenance is a plus Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with Aspire or similar CRM/estimating tools Valid driver’s license

Salary Range:
$65,000-$75,000 with quarterly bonus opportunities
