Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Officer and be at the forefront of expanding our banking footprint and financial solutions in our new Dover location! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the bank’s client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and individual clients. Promote the bank’s products and services. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and client service experience. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity. Achieve and exceed sales and growth targets. Represent the bank at community and industry events, enhancing brand visibility and credibility. Regularly participate in local and industry professional organizations such as Chambers of Commerce. Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly, ensuring long-term loyalty. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in banking, sales, or financial services (2-5 years preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Goal-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to building client relationships. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance practices is a plus.
