Business Development Assistant FM Sylvan 1001 State St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities as well as building relationships with potential clients, . The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Job Duties:
Maintaining contact with existing and potential clients Assisting in creating presentations and sales materials Identify and qualify potential leads through calls, emails, and networking Maintain and update CRM systems with lead and client information Gather and analyze data to identify new business opportunities Monitor project pipelines Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential clients Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions Prepare monthly reports summarizing BD activities, success rates, and market insights
Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software Team oriented with a proactive mindset Minimum of one year in a similar role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with construction terminology
