Business Development Representative:
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our experienced sales team. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or individuals looking to start a career in sales and business development. Position is fully in-office You’ll work closely with our experienced sales team to build client relationships, learn about the energy and fuel industry, and help us grow our customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Learn our products and services through on-the-job training and shadowing experienced team members. Support the sales team by identifying and researching potential new customers. Assist in outreach efforts via phone, email, and networking events. Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts. Maintain and update customer information in our CRM system. Attend client meetings and industry events alongside our sales reps. Provide friendly and responsive customer support through the sales process.
Qualifications:
Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
