The Sales Support Specialist will provide product and merchandising training throughout the channel to develop and support regional and local activities to grow sales and ensure proper company procedures are being followed.​ This role is pivotal in building and strengthening relationships between Rheem and across multiple functions within The Home Depot, and specifically within their stores and across their field leadership. This role is based in the Mid-Atlantic Region, with our ideal candidate located in MD, NJ, PA, or VA.

Responsibilities:

Act as Main point of contact between Rheem and THD Associates within the region’s stores and within the overall Sales Support Team. Coordinate and assist in events including: New Store Openings Managed Account Events Pro Roadshows RVP Walks Quarterly Meetings Projects Trainings (including ILCs, SFI Providers, Call Centers, Pros & PARS, and Stores) Collaborate with Rheem’s training and sales teams to drive initiatives such as product launches Collaborate with Team on training events and blitzes at ILCs Apply sales approaches/mindsets for successful execution of recommendations Initiate Sales Support Specialists team building through developing strong, cohesive, collaborative relationships

Qualifications:

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years’ previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts; may include entering and tracking merchandise, scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to present in front of large groups i.e.10 or more Ability to think strategically with an innovative mindset (think outside the box) Excellent verbal and written communication skills In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Ability to travel up to 50%
