Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Aggregate and Asphalt Sales Representative to support our sales operations across ChautauquaCattaraugus Counties and surrounding areas. This position plays a vital role in maintaining customer relationships, monitoring project progress, and ensuring the efficient delivery and pricing of aggregate and asphalt materials to municipal clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with pricing for aggregates and blacktop products. Attend bid openings and provide sales support as required. Monitor and track daily truck logs to ensure efficient operations. Operate the truck scale (MANN Scale) when needed. Visit municipal job sites to ensure quality, delivery, and client satisfaction. Maintain regular contact with towns and villages to monitor project progress and identify potential issues. Attend monthly meetings with Highway Superintendents and other relevant municipal contacts. Assist in the collection of overdue payments from municipal clients. Maintain and manage inventory of company-branded t-shirts and promotional items.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; additional education or experience in sales or construction materials is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in basic computer systems and familiarity with truck log tracking systems preferred. Valid driver’s license (in good standing) and willingness to travel within ChautauquaCattaraugus Counties and surrounding areas.

Work Environment:

Fieldwork required, including visiting job sites and municipalities. Occasional office duties related to tracking logs, pricing, and reporting. Attendance at community and industry meetings as scheduled.

Compensation:

Salary is $50,000 – $80,000 based on experience. Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement. Benefits package available.
