CPS is a leading installer of automatic standby generators in Upstate New York having installed thousands of standby generators and has over 12,000 current service and preventive maintenance customers. Commercial Power Systems is looking to expand our team and is currently seeking a Commercial Sales Account Representative based out of our Rochester & Buffalo locations to build relationships and generate peace of mind for our customers by providing reliable back up power solutions. The successful candidate will establish and build new customer relationships, identifying opportunities to propose estimates for generator system installations, replacements, and service/ maintenance agreements. You will be a key member of the team, partnering with the estimating team to generate accurate and high-quality proposals. You’ll work with our Project Managers, technical experts, and customers to value engineer solutions spanning back up power, green energy and sophisticated solutions to suit their needs. Salary Range:

$60,000-150k+

Develop relationships with customer by providing professional presentations, proposals, and design input. Meet and exceed monthly established targeted revenue goals. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, lead sources, and referrals. Build a book of business through developing long-term relationships and customer loyalty. Maintain all client communication and documentation in Salesforce. Make daily calls to new prospects and client base to generate leads. Act as a company representative at sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events to build relationships and increase company brand awareness. Participate in sales and product training in person, online and through various content. Conduct thorough job site measuring, take photos, calculate the cost of the project, lead Sales Team presentations to customers. Maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with good judgment, policy, objectives, and our company Code of Ethics. When needed, complete cost estimates for requested change orders and other job site variations Continually build, develop, and grow relationships with customer base, vendor, subcontractor, and Project Management / field personnel

Requirements:
