Description Sales Development Coordinator- Inside Sales Location:
Amherst, NYAnnual Salary starting at $48,000 We are seeing a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Coordinator join a dynamic and collaborative team in the Dental industry. This role is essential in supporting Ivoclar’s Clinical & Technical Sales teams. The Ideal candidate will proactively provide lead generation by contacting laboratories in assigned territory, to create opportunities, maintain and grow customer base and to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. This person will also utilize a consultative selling approach to develop relationships and uncover opportunities by offering solutions with Ivoclar’s portfolio of products.
Position Purpose:
The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by providing operational, administrative, and analytical support to the Inside Sales and Technical Field Sales teams. This role serves as a central resource for sales process execution, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. By streamlining workflows, supporting order management, facilitating communication across departments, and assisting with lead qualification, the Sales Operations Coordinate helps drive sales productivity, improve customer experience, and enable strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions:
Sales Operations & Process Support:
+ + Create, maintain, and update Sales Work Instructions and documentation for Inside Sales and Technical Field Sales. + Act as the back-up resource for order processing and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. + Ensure sales processes are followed consistently and identify opportunities for improvement. + Cross functional
Coordination:
+ Serve as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, Finance, and Operations to resolve complex issues and prevent delays for the sales team. + Proactively identify recurring issues or communication gaps and work with teams to implement long-term solutions. +
Reporting & Analytics:
+ Generate and maintain regular reports for Technical Sales Leadership (e.g., sales metrics, pipeline activity, order status). + Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from Sales Leadership and support sales forecasting activities. +
Administrative & Clerical Support:
+ Provide day-to-day clerical support to the Inside Sales team, including calendar coordination, data entry, document management, and scheduling. + Help with the preparation of presentations, sales kits, and customer-facing documentation when needed. + Lead Generation & Qualification (As-Needed) + Monitor and respond to inbound leads, qualifying opportunities based on defined criteria. + Conduct initial outreach (email or phone) to gather basic information and set up meetings for the sales team. + Maintain lead records and activity tracking in the CRM.
Your Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or administrative coordination (preferably in a technical or B2B environment).Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not mandatory). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Highly organized with strong attention to detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace. + Collaborative mindset and a service-oriented attitude.
Bonus Skills:
+ Experience with order entry/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite). + Familiarity with technical products or solutions-based selling. + Prior experience in lead qualification or sales development.
