- Binghampton), while also providing support to the inside sales and purchasing teams as needed.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in metal sales, industrial sales, or related B2B sales Knowledge of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, or related metals a plus Existing customer relationships a plus Understanding of the aerospace, military, medical, automotive, and related manufacturing industries Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule Responsibilities Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions Develop new sales opportunities through research Present products and services to prospective customers Ability to cultivate customer relationships Monitor competition within assigned region Limited overnight travel may be necessary Skills Strong knowledge of the Stainless Steel and Aluminum markets a plus Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred Strong work ethic and ability to develop long-term relationships Ability to multi-task, manage, and organize your workload Problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication and negotiation skills Tech savvy: CRM, quoting tools, Microsoft Office What we offer: Competitive Base Salary + commission and bonus structure Salary based on experience Mileage reimbursement/company vehicle options Growth opportunities with a growing company American Stainless Corporation is an
