IThe FieldSales Executive is responsible for driving revenue from newbusiness for Quill. This role will build a territory and strongpartnerships with prospective Quill customers in the public sector(SLED), Non-Profit, local and county governments as well ascommercial businesses by understanding what they value most and howQuill can provide a meaningful solution leveraging education andcooperative contracts and also building custom-built programs. Thisis a remote position with a regional focus. This position supportscustomers in New York, NY and surrounding areas. While the roleprimarily supports working from home, the individual performingthis role would live within or adjacent to this region. What you’llbe doing:

  • Drive conversion new revenue from new customers whilebuilding programs to orchestrate sales growth in our public sector(SLED) and commercial market. Territory for this position is NewYork, NY.
  • Build territory strategy, continuously analyzeindividual performance, and shift strategy to meet and exceedrevenue goals.
  • Qualify prospects, from internal and externalleads, based on customer size, spend and potential while routingopportunities to fellow sales team members based on salesqualifiers.
  • Schedule appointments and meet with prospectivecustomers in person to present Quill values and solutions.
  • Utilize marketing collateral to build engaging, meaningfulpresentations to drive prospect engagement and conversion.
  • Attendconferences, tradeshows, and events representing Quill and winningnew customers.
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions topotential high growth commercial customers.
  • Leverage educationcontracts, including Cooperative Purchasing partnerships and Bids,to acquire new education customers or drive growth for existing.
  • Upon customer commitment, ensure smooth transition to the accountmanagement team.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas and keymetrics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM,including activity logs and pipeline.
  • Seek ways to constantlyimprove, absorb and apply manager and peer led coaching.
  • Make ahighly positive impact on culture and team
  • work well with others,share learnings, build trust and lead by example.
  • Work closelywith sales leadership and peers to drive revenue beyond traditionaloffice supplies.
  • Champion company values and services, inaddition to product features and benefits.
  • Grow share of walletby consolidating business from other vendors, creating customizedpricing programs, and developing a trusted advisor relationshipwith key accounts and their affiliated sites.
  • Required travelwithin territory based on appointments, customer needs andconferences, approximately 50% travel. What you bring to the table

What’s needed-

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years salesexperience with at least 6 months of relevant experience in thepublic sector
  • Required travel within territory based onappointments, customer needs and conferences, approximately 50%travel.

    Must be able to cover a territory of NewYork City and surrounding areas What’s needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or arelated field.
  • Proven business development experience
