The Role The Cabinetry Sales Leader is responsible for driving, developing, and maximizing sales of the Waterworks cabinetry brand across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in kitchen and cabinetry design with a passion for sales leadership and service excellence to expand market share. Through personal sales efforts in the NYC area and strategic leadership of Cabinetry Sales Consultants in key markets, the Cabinetry Sales Leader will position Waterworks as the definitive authority in ultra-luxury cabinetry. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 4-5 cabinetry sales professionals located on both the East and West Coasts, each managing their own book of business, to drive revenue growth and elevate brand presence in key markets. Establish and uphold best practices in luxury sales execution, client engagement, and project delivery across the cabinetry segment. Act as the subject matter expert in Waterworks cabinetry, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and training to both team members and internal stakeholders. Partner with showroom leadership and sales teams to ensure alignment on cabinetry business goals, client engagement strategies, and training opportunities. Model Waterworks values and represent the brand with the highest level of professionalism and product knowledge. Monitor team performance and sales metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, operations, logistics, and project management teams to support team success in delivering high-touch, ultra-premium cabinetry experiences. Sales & Project Execution Responsibilities Drive sales of Waterworks cabinetry within the local market, focusing on multi-room and multi-category opportunities in partnership with showroom consultants. Own and grow a personal portfolio of ultra-premium cabinetry clientele, consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly sales targets. Build relationships with the design community, positioning Waterworks as the authority in ultra-luxury cabinetry through strategic business development. Act as the expert in the showroom, mentoring Sales Consultants on the Waterworks cabinetry offering, design process, and sales strategy. Manage cabinetry projects from sale through installation, ensuring a flawless client experience, including on-site presence for measurements, delivery, and installation as needed. Create cabinetry designs and layouts using 20/20 and/or AutoCAD based on approved sales quotes. Ensure accurate and timely order processing, including quotes, specifications, installation requirements, and compliance with terms and conditions. Partner with internal teams (General Managers, Client Services, Product Support) to resolve client issues and ensure exceptional service. Stay current on Waterworks cabinetry offerings, industry trends, and competitor products to confidently guide client decisions. Utilize showroom tools and reference materials to provide informed, personalized solutions and recommendations to clients. Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, seamless installation, and high client satisfaction. Qualifications Proven track record in luxury or ultra-premium cabinetry sales, with experience managing a personal book of business and consistently exceeding revenue targets. 5-7+ years of experience in high-end interior design, kitchen design, or luxury home furnishings, with a strong understanding of custom cabinetry solutions. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing remote sales teams across multiple regions. Expertise in cabinetry design software, including proficiency in 20/20 and/or AutoCAD, with the ability to produce accurate, client-ready designs. Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing complex, multi-phase cabinetry installations from concept through completion. Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills, with a consultative sales approach and a keen understanding of the ultra-luxury client mindset. Ability to build and nurture relationships with the design community, including architects, interior designers, and contractors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts, timelines, pricing, and product specifications to clients and internal teams. Strong business acumen, with experience identifying market opportunities, shaping sales strategies, and contributing to brand growth in premium or design-driven industries. Travel up to 40% or as needed including client site visits, showroom support, and on-site project supervision during key phases such as delivery and installation. Compensation for this role is base salary plus a generous commission plan.
