Our client is currently seeking a Customer Service and Inside Sales Rep for an agriculture industry client. CSR Supply Chain/ISR Specialist

REMOTE REQUIREMENTS

Agriculture Industry Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Environmental Field PST Time zone – Supporting WEST Region Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role serves as the key liaison between company and its customers, ensuring seamless order processing, customer support, and proactive sales outreach. This position blends customer service and inside sales functions, handling order management while driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts.

Essential Responsibilities:
Customer Service Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of the order process. Acknowledge customer Purchase Orders (POs) within one hour of receipt, enter orders into the ERP system by end of business day, and establish estimated ship dates based on inventory and production planning. Oversee order shipment, tracking, delivery, and invoicing within 24 hours of shipment. Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues by collaborating with relevant departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Provide support for inventory reconciliation and billing inquiries, working closely with the Inventory Control Manager and Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

Develop account plans and strategies for assigned accounts to maximize engagement and revenue growth. Conduct outreach to previous customers with sales under $100,000, aiming to reengage them and expand business opportunities. Assist Account Managers with order follow-ups, program reminders, and high-value client interactions. Implement pricing and promotional programs to ensure accurate execution of customer invoicing. Log and track customer interactions in Salesforce (SFDC) with a target of at least 25 outbound calls per day. Generate leads, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with USA/Canada sales teams and global sales representatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong customer service and sales abilities with an agriculture industry background preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and CRM tools like Salesforce (SFDC). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-first approach. Experience working in a matrixed sales and customer operations structure.
