Overview
The Leader, Sales Experience for the high-traffic NYC showroom is responsible for cultivating influencer relationships, managing showroom operations, and creating exceptional customer experiences. Representing high-end kitchen and bath plumbing products, this role requires a strategic, customer-focused leader who can develop productive partnerships, create and execute events, and collaborate with various teams to achieve sales goals. This position will report to the Leader, Client and Customer Experience, and will make decisions and partner with appropriate personnel on needed outcomes in their absence.
This role requires being on-site five days a week.
Responsibilities
Sales and Specifications:
Collaborate with Americas sales team members to drive results through showroom visits.
Actively develop, grow and track sales opportunities through software solutions such as Salesforce and Planning Pod.
Showroom Events and Traffic Generation:
Generate traffic to the showroom by creating and implementing showroom-based events such as IIDA meetings, lectures, product launches, and CEUs.
Support the local sales teams by interfacing with all customer channels, organizing and presenting products, presenting LIXIL to all customer types, and supporting overall sales revenue and profit growth.
Visual Presentation and Visitor Experience:
Execute visual presentation within the showroom based on brand standards.
Develop and execute the LIXIL experience package for various levels of visitors.
Conduct trainings, executive showroom tours, and product knowledge presentations.
Effectively manage all onsite showroom operations
Product and Industry Knowledge:
Have a deep understanding of brand positions and products to effectively convey information to visitors.
Actively seek knowledge and growth around industry trends to identify strategic opportunities to maximize sales within the market.
Event Collaboration and Execution:
Collaborate with industry vendors, associations, and LIXIL sales/cross-functional personnel to create special events hosted and facilitated by the NYC showroom team.
Create, update, and troubleshoot the annual event calendar.
Be on-site for events, which may include evenings and weekends.
Partner with the Leader, Customer and Sales Experience to coordinate, communicate, and execute the National Sales Conference.
Relationship Development:
Develop and maintain relationships within the architect and design community.
Enhance relationships with current clients to increase sales.
Establish connections with local trade industry organizations and stay informed on design trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of proven sales experience in a showroom, outside sales or product training role; plumbing experience is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Luxury retail showroom experience is must. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry professionals, and team members.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Knowledge of current design trends and the ability to engage with local trade industry organizations.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and problem-solving.

Hiring Range
The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $91,000.00-$139,000.00
annually.
(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
Other Compensation This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Sales Incentive Plan of 20 percent.
