Oncology Field Sales Representative – (Cell Therapy)

Staten Island, NY Inizio Engage, in collaboration with Iovance Biotherapeutics, is building a high-performing sales team to drive the successful launch and adoption of Amtagvi, a novel, FDA-approved autologous cell therapy for unresectable or metastatic melanoma. As an Oncology Field Sales Representative, you will educate oncology healthcare professionals (HCPs) on Amtagvi’s clinical profile, safety, and treatment pathway, focusing on appropriate patient identification and the referral process to Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) where therapy is administered. You’ll serve as a trusted resource to the oncology community, helping unlock new possibilities for patients with limited treatment options. Certified Great Place to Work (2022, 2023, 2025) What will you be doing? Educate HCPs in community oncology on the FDA-approved indication for Amtagvi, including clinical data, safety profile, and efficacy.
Lead discussions to help providers identify eligible patients and understand how to refer them to Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs).
Drive awareness of workflow strategies and logistical considerations to streamline access and accelerate treatment initiation.
Build and strengthen long-term relationships with oncology stakeholders, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and referral coordinators.
Understand and articulate the payer/reimbursement landscape and patient flow dynamics between community clinics and ATCs.
Provide deep insights from the field to shape broader commercial strategy.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure message alignment and optimized account engagement. What do you need for this position? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales (oncology preferred)
Experience with immunotherapy, cell therapy, or metastatic melanoma is strongly preferred
Proven success in identifying new business, engaging HCPs, and influencing treatment decisions
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex clinical data clearly
Familiarity with community oncology challenges, especially referring patients to academic or ATC settings
A driven, compassionate approach centered on improving patient outcomes
