Inside Sales Representative High Purity Technology 1 Anaconda Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449 HPT is hiring! The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for quoting, product application and recommendations, assisting with technical product support and trouble shooting to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Summary Customer Contact and Technical Support:

• Serve as the lead customer contact point for product quoting and technical support. • Provide technical assistance and resolve customer inquiries related to products.

Quoting Process Management:

• Manage the product and custom solutions quoting process. • Read part print drawings and produce simple sketches for quoting purposes.

Training and Sales Meetings:

• Participate in technical training and sales meetings for representatives, distributors, and end users. • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions as needed.

Industry Knowledge:

• Stay current on competitive products and services within the process and surface technology industries. • Gather and share general information of interest to customers.

Sample Order Management:

• Manage sample orders of standard and custom products. • Ensure timely and accurate processing of sample orders.

Relationship Building:

• Establish and maintain working relationships with, team members, distributors and customers. • Provide ongoing support and communication to build strong partnerships.

Attendance:

• Maintain regular and dependable attendance to ensure consistent customer support and team collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge equivalent to two years of technical school, college, business, or required. Requires a minimum of three year’s experience to acquire an appropriate knowledge of our product line, customers, and company policies and procedures. Must have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus and the ability to adapt to differing personalities. A valid drivers license required. Inspection capabilities and part print reading is a must. Use common measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers, and calipers for dimensional verification to specifications.
