As a leading Verizon authorized retailer, we are expanding our team to directly serve the small business market, offering comprehensive wireless solutions that empower local enterprises to thrive.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Small Business Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a critical role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the small business segment, leveraging the full suite of Verizon wireless products and services. You will be an ambassador for our stores, bringing the power of Verizon directly to local businesses and helping them optimize their communication and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:

Proactively identify and target small businesses within your assigned territory (e.g., through cold calling, networking events, local business associations, referrals, and strategic partnerships).

Needs Assessment & Solution Selling:

Conduct thorough needs analyses with potential clients to understand their current communication infrastructure, pain points, and business objectives. Develop and present tailored Verizon solutions, including device activations, data plans, mobile broadband, IoT solutions, business internet, and more.

Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to close, including proposal creation, contract negotiation, and coordinating with our in-store teams for seamless activation and ongoing support.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with small business owners and decision-makers, acting as their trusted advisor for all things wireless.

Product Expertise:

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Verizon small business products, services, and promotions, as well as competitor offerings.

Sales Reporting & CRM:

Accurately track sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using our CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.

Collaboration:

Work closely with our 10 Verizon Wireless Zone store managers and staff to ensure a cohesive customer experience and leverage in-store resources for customer support and follow-up.

Market Intelligence:

Stay informed about local business trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Achieve Sales Targets:

Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.

Qualifications:
Experience:

experience, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or B2B sales. Experience selling to small businesses is a significant plus.

Networking:

Strong ability to network and build rapport quickly with diverse business professionals.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Self-Motivated:

Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Problem-Solver:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.

Tech-Savvy:

Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Valid Driver’s License:

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this is an outside sales role requiring frequent travel within the assigned territory.

Availability:

Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet client schedules and attend networking events. High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

$50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
