About the Role We’re looking for an upbeat, reliable, and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to help run the day-to-day operations at our headquarters — with a strong focus on live selling through our fast-growing resale program and managing the distribution of client appraisal kits. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines structure and process with energy and persuasion. You’ll need to be comfortable speaking with clients, moving fast, and jumping into live sales opportunities — whether it’s closing walk-in deals or helping a buyer commit to a resale piece. If you’re the kind of person who’s organized, great with follow-through, and loves the idea of making extra cash through performance bonuses, you’ll thrive here. Roughly half of your time will be spent driving Alloy’s resale program forward — tagging, photographing, listing, selling, and coordinating high-value jewelry items. The other half will focus on key operational tasks like kit fulfillment, office upkeep, and supporting walk-in clients. This role is perfect for someone who brings both structure and sales energy — and is excited to grow with us. Accurately catalog and tag incoming jewelry items eligible for resale.
Listing & Selling:
Assist in photographing, pricing, and uploading items for sale via our internal systems or resale platforms.
Shipping & Receiving:
Package and ship sold resale items; receive returns or inbound shipments and log accordingly.
Client Correspondence:
Respond to buyer inquiries, send payment links, confirm shipping, and update clients throughout the resale process.
Economics Tracking:
Support reconciliation of payouts, costs, and margins for each resale transaction in coordination with the finance team.
What We’re Looking For Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven:
You follow SOPs precisely and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Reliable & Consistent:
You show up on time, work efficiently, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Accountability:
You take ownership of your time and tasks, and you’re willing to be measured on daily follow-through.
Friendly & Approachable:
You’ll interact with walk-in customers, so a warm and welcoming demeanor is key.
Adaptable:
While we have clear processes, you can adjust to changes as the company grows.
Basic Computer Skills:
Comfortable using a computer for tracking shipments, inventory, and basic reporting.
Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation:
Since this role may require occasional transport of metal goods, you must have a valid license and be comfortable with local driving if needed.
