We’re looking for a self-starting, mechanically inclined individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This is an entry-level aftermarket sales support role with a direct path to capital equipment sales for those who prove themselves. The ideal candidate is hands-on , personable, highly responsive, and eager to learn the business from the ground up. You will support equipment demos, manage light technical tasks, and build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable field support. Reporting to the Industrial Equipment Product Manager, this role is a key connection point between our capital sales team and our service/parts departments.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as the face of aftermarket support for construction and industrial equipment customers. Assist the capital sales team by coordinating and supporting equipment demos, ensuring machines are clean, staged, and operational (light machine prep only). Build trust with customers by responding quickly to parts, service, and general support needs in the field. Prepare and present parts, service, and accessories proposals in coordination with department managers. Travel daily throughout the region to customer sites and company locations; company vehicle provided. Log customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups in CRM system daily. Support trade shows, open houses, and customer events. Participate in manufacturer and internal training to build product and industry knowledge.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong mechanical aptitude – You don’t need to be a mechanic, but you must be comfortable around equipment and know your way around a machine. Customer-focused – Reliable, clear communicator who represents the brand well in the field. Quick learner and proactive problem-solver – Able to take direction, adapt, and think on your feet. Highly responsive – Sense of urgency is key; this is not a behind-the-desk job. Motivated to grow – Candidates who succeed in this role will be considered for equipment sales roles. Sales mindset – Confident, professional, and not afraid of in-person cold calls or presenting solutions. Comfortable working independently with accountability.

Minimum Requirements:

Clean driving record; extensive daily travel required (CDL a plus). HS diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience preferred. Professional appearance and communication skills. Available for occasional overnight travel and evening events. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Prior experience in equipment, parts, service, or related industry Must be coachable and open to ongoing training and development.
