Entry Level Outside Sales Representative Ikon Search Scranton, PA 18503 Outside Sales Representative (Canvasser / Field Marketing) The Outside Sales Representative position is an entry-level Field Marketing / Canvasser role and assumes responsibility for generating the leads needed for our sales staff at a large national home renovation company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making door-to-door inquiries as well as assisting with events. 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday schedule.

Summer hours:

1:00pm-9:00pm.

Winter hours:

10:00am-6:00pm. What’s in It for

$20/hr base pay + performance bonuses Average yearly earnings: $55K-$75K Top performers: $85K+ (potential for $100K) No car required , just reliable transport to the Pittston, PA office daily. Team environment with training, support, and career advancement. Full-time role only.

Responsibilities:

Develop and foster ongoing positive working relationships with customers. Lead, assist, and motivate employees to meet and exceed sales goals. Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals monthly. Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately. Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity with leads. Ensure workstation / kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable always.

Requirements:

Sales or customer service experience preferred – hospitality, retail or any customer-facing field. Excellent attention to detail, and strong negotiation skills, coupled with outstanding follow through and execution. Ability to meet deadlines and benchmarks. Strong verbal customer communication skills, along with effective organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Year-round field work in all weather conditions. Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs. Capable of setup and breakdown kiosk and showroom displays. Must be able to operate a phone, computer, copier, scanner, and fax machine.
