OBJECTIVES

The Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth of our commercial propane business by generating and managing new sales leads, and effectively vetting prospects to bring stable sales volume at minimal risk. They will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with current and future customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Manage all latest sales leads from lead to sale. 2. Manage a book of business, maintaining productive relationships with all customers. 3. Understand cost structure around each individual sales opportunity (product cost, labor, and logistics) and set prices that ensure gross margin requirements are met. 4. Manage customer account issues for your accounts. 5. Manage customer requirements necessary to ensure safe and efficient fuel deliveries. 6. Handle all federal, state, local bids, and bond requirements. 7. Scheduling, coordination, and tracking of BOC equipment on site with customers. 8. Effectively utilize company offers, promotions, and programs like budgets, price caps, service contracts, and automatic delivery. 9. Maintain account information through approved CRM. 10. Manage monthly expense report. 11. Recommend improvements to boost performance for commercial propane sales. 12. Monitor market conditions (i.e. competitors, changes in the industry, etc.). 13. Manage the process for delivering customer price quotes. 14. Ensure complete and accurate account set up and ongoing account management. 15. Review customer accounts receivables on an ongoing basis to ensure on time payment and to identify customer collection risk. 16. Assist with customer collections, as necessary. 17. Demonstrate a professional attitude in appearance, mannerisms, and actions to customers. 18. Understanding ROI on company assets. 19. Working as a team with Management and Customer Service Representatives to provide superior customer service and achieve specified volume and margin goals. 20. Maintain company property so it is fit and safe to be used. 21.Keep workplace clean, organized and safe.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma.
  • Proven sales experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience using Microsoft Office products: i.

e. Word, Outlook, and Excel, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to stand frequently for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk frequently for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of the position can be met.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs.
WORK ENVIROMENT
  • Travels throughout the day as required for the job.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, and weekends.
  • Works in well-lighted and ventilated areas.
  • May be exposed to various chemicals, odors, fumes, temperatures, heat, and hazardous conditions.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions This position will be hybrid which will consist of onsite, work from home and at 3rd party locations.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
