We are looking for a skilled and motivated Freelance/Part-TimeBusiness Development Lead (BDL) to join Loka, the 2024 AWSInnovation Partner of the Year, for a 3-month experiment. Thisinitiative is designed to drive pipeline growth and strengthen ourposition as a top AWS partner. Now, we’re looking for aBusiness Development Lead who can work with our CMO and sales teamto help us unlock new opportunities through AWS-funded campaignsand strategic outreach. As a BDL, you’ll play a pivotal role ingenerating and nurturing leads, strengthening relationships withLoka and AWS sales teams, and helping architect a scalable BDprocess. To start, this is a part-time role (50-100 hours/month)with the goal to scale into a full-time position if the experimentproves successful. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Drive 50-65 MarketingQualified Leads (MQLs) and 6-13 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)through targeted AWS-funded campaigns. Focus on SMB and startuplead generation and outreach.
Pipeline Development:
Identify andnurture new opportunities aligned with AWS funding programs such asMAP and SMB-focused offers. Build and manage a self-controlledpipeline, positioning Loka as a preferred partner for AWSinitiatives.
Execution and Reporting:
Bring your expertise to buildand maintain structured outreach processes. Provide CMO weeklyupdates on lead generation, pipeline progress, and AWS feedback.
Contribute to a final Q2 review assessing success metrics, ROI, andrecommendations for scaling. Key Metrics for

Who YouAre:
Proven Experience:
3-5 years of business development or salesexperience, ideally in the cloud, SaaS, or tech ecosystem.
Experience working with AWS sales teams or cloud-focused campaigns.
Skilled Communicator:
Strong written and verbal communicationskills for building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
Expertise in crafting compelling outreach messages aligned withAWS-funded efforts.
Strategic and Analytical:
Results-driven with afocus on metrics, ROI, and strategic alignment. Ability to managemultiple campaigns and assess their effectiveness with data-driveninsights. Self-Starter with
Structure:
Comfortable working in apart-time, freelance capacity with minimal supervision.
Availability during early and core US business hours. Organized,detail-oriented, and capable of working within a tightly scopedrole.
