The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution ofbrand standards as well as the teammate experience. With theguidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Leadis the in-store expert of their business / department. The Lead isfocused on delivering the best service to our customers as well asproviding direction to teammates. Their ability to lead by example,be empathic, relentless in the face of adversity, optimistic, andcollaborative with teammates is how they differentiate themselves.

Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-storeinterviews and department tours. Builds a people-first culture byconnecting with every teammate in the store to build mutual trust,respect, and contribute to the strong store recognition culture.

Plans, organizes, controls 30-days out with the guidance ofAssistant Store Manager; including building an effective approachand align on necessary workforce to execute daily assignments, gameplans, projects, or store events. Strategically leverages teammatesto ensure brand standards are met, programs and processes areexecuted daily, and tasks are delegated based on their prioritylevel. Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards byfollowing established floor sets, signage requirements, pricechanges, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.

Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in thestore in accordance with Company policies and procedures, whereapplicable. Assists with training teammates on company proceduresand programs; this includes onboarding new teammates andcross-training current teammates. Prioritizes coaching anddeveloping oneself and others; provides hands-on coaching andteaches the “why” behind tasks, plans, and processes (e.g.,Protection Plans, Scorecards, Loss Prevention, etc.). Leads byexample to support the vision of the organization and store byhelping teammates understand how their responsibilities directlyalign to the common purpose, organizational goals, and deliveringan exceptional shopping experience. Creates an inclusive storeenvironment where everyone (teammates & customers) feels welcomeand safe and is treated with respect. Adhere to establishedpolicies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention andstandard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of allCompany information. Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to supportthe team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned bymanagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Flexible availability – includingnights, weekend, and holidays. Prior retail sales experience (orcustomer-focused experience) preferred. Ability to stand, bend,stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. itemsrepetitively (up to 25 times per hour). Ability to work extendedperiods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability towork at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aeriallifting device, or platform. Ability to perform repetitive motionsfor short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
