Job Title:
HVAC and Electrical Sales Representative Company:

Carolina HVAC & Electrical As an HVAC and Electrical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) as well as electrical systems and related products to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. You will play a pivotal role in generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:
Generate Leads:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored HVAC solutions.

Consultative Selling:

Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate HVAC systems and products.

Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on the features, specifications, and benefits of HVAC and electrical systems and products to effectively communicate with customers.

Quoting and Proposals:

Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals for customers, ensuring alignment with their needs and budget.

Negotiation:

Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, including pricing, warranties, and payment terms, to close deals successfully.

Pipeline Management:

Manage the sales pipeline, track sales activities, and update CRM systems with relevant customer information and sales progress.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal teams, including installation technicians, service technicians, and customer service representatives, to ensure smooth execution of sales orders and customer satisfaction.

Market Research:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for business growth.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent post-sales support, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Load Calculations:

Ability to perform Wrightsoft Manual J load calculations as well as preforming amp load calculations for homes and businesses

Requirements:
Proven Sales Experience:

Demonstrated success in HVAC sales or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Technical Knowledge:

Basic understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, components, and their functions preferred.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively convey technical information.

Negotiation Skills:

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals and secure profitable agreements.

Self-Motivation:

Self-driven with a proactive approach to sales, able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Problem-Solving Ability:

Strong problem-solving skills to address customer needs and overcome objections.

Team Player:

Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment and support colleagues when needed.

Computer Literacy:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.

Local and National Codes:

Ability to learn building codes to aid in the sales process.
